This Ain’t Saved by the Bell XXX

Not all porn parodies are created equal.

I’ve been enjoying the latest slew of porn parodies released by Hustler. For the most part, they’ve been fun and sexy through and through. I used to watch Saved by the Bell when I was younger and thought this would be a hoot too. We had a lady friend over a few weeks ago that also watched Saved by the Bell when she was younger, so we thought it would be fun to view and get naughty with together.

The theme song is quite clever.

You hear it as soon as the menu screen comes up. It sounds like the Saved by the Bell theme song, but the words have been changed. It was clever and funny all at the same time setting expectations high and honestly, but mostly unfortunately, it was the best part of the DVD.(...)

This Ain’t Star Trek XXX

I’m not a Trekkie.

I’m more of a Star Wars gal. However, I did see the most recent Star Trek release and really enjoyed it, so when I saw that Hustler came out with this new parody, I was excited to watch. I’d say it’s more a parody of the original Star Trek series with William Shatner. In fact, Evan Stone does a great job adding a Shatner-like delivery to his lines which tickled me quite a bit.

This Ain’t Star Trek XXX stays true to the original series.

It’s got a all the main characters: Captain Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Scotty, the evil Kahn, Dr. McCoy. The set looks good, costuming is authentic, not overly sexy or ridiculous like pornos can be, campy but not cheesy. It has the dramatic music and sound effects very similar to the TV show, the scenes end with a slow fade as if you were going to go commercial. (...)
