I’m curious & fascinated about all things sex

Being sex writer, this should not be surprising. However, I’m especially curious about why people do  what they do and how they came about doing it. I love the nitty gritty details and the back story. So when the folks at PlayPassions.com wanted to send me a tell-all book like Swingers: Female Confidential, I just HAD to have it.

There are lots of books about swinging

Some of them are actually helpful; some of them are full of crap information. Either way, most of them concentrate on theory, rules and how to get into it and mostly discuss it from a male or couples’ point of view. Author, Ashley Lister, confesses that after writing his first book on Swingers he received a flood of emails and letters asking why women swing. So he sat down with women from all over the U.K. settling on 30 women’s stories of why they swing and what they get out of it.(...)

This review was not easy for me to write.

More specifically, it wasn’t easy for me to edit because there are so many reasons why I LOVE this book! I wrote about everything I felt was important and would be important to all of you and by the time I was finished, my review was way too long!  The short version is this; “Opening Up” is THE book to read if you’re thinking of opening your relationship in any form or on any level. Even if you’re simply curious about it, you should be reading this book. It is THE source to help you look at your life, your relationship and your inner thoughts to decide if this is something that’s for you. Then if you do decide it’s for you, the information continues to help you both create and sustain a relationship that’s ultimately custom built for you. What I Like About Ride ‘Em Cowgirl

This may sound silly, but the size of the book is very friendly at 7″ long and 5″ wide. It’s just a playful pocket book that you can easily fit in your purse or hide away in a drawer. Sadie’s books always have a light-hearted, fun appearance to them making them a more attractive read. Even though I’m one of those sex geeks that LOVES to read about sex, I still want good, solid, practical, fun and realistic information.

On that note, the information is solid. As always, Sadie has taken the bare bones information and has presented it in a very playful, straight-forward manner. The book’s title Ride ‘Em Cowgirl may have one thinking that it’s strictly a book for woman on top information and that’s not the case, as they say, you can’t judge a book by its cover. You’ll encounter illustrations to spice up missionary, doggy style, spooning, G-spot, anal for her and anal for him.

Sadie’s writing is also very friendly in a voice that can be enjoyed by both men and women. There are sections in each chapter directed to men to help them understand a woman’s body and mind during sex and sections directed at women to help them understand men better.
