Glass dildos can be so expensive.

And I can understand that many will not purchase a glass dildo because of the hundreds of dollars they can cost. Luckily Adam & Eve sent me this VERY affordable Curved Beaded Glass Dildo for review. Is there a difference between the cheaper versions and their expensive counterparts? Let’s explore.

It’s a versatile dildo

You’ve got two options with this pretty glass dil. You can use the thin twisty glass end or bulbous, bubbly end. It’s up to you and what you desire. When I played with this toy, I wasn’t quite ready for the large bulbous end, so I started with the twisty end. I didn’t really feel the twisty texture of that end, but it was hard and thin enough for my needs at the time. As I got more excited & wanted more, I pushed the dildo in further to include the first, then second bulb.

The thrusting was good, but…

I found this dildo works well for g-spot stimulation as well. Once I got the second bulb in, I held on to the large bulb at the other end, I pushed down on it a bit, causing the twisty end inside of me to move up and it hit my g-spot. It’s got a curve in it, so that gentle pushing down almost creates a greater curve.  The large bulb was comfy enough to hold on to, allowing me to get a good grip of the toy rocking it, creating a good rhythm, giving myself a very enjoyable orgasm.

Bulbs can be popped in and out too

If you’re looking for something thicker, the bulbs are fun to pop in and out too, although you’re starting with the biggest one first and getting smaller. So I needed to make sure I was well aroused before just popping that one in. When I did, it was divine. I actually spent a little while just popping that large one in and out, but then I moved back to the thin end and rocking it, while holding my Hitachi Magic Wand to bring me to a second orgasm. Both sides worked well.

Glass seems like a fragile material to use for sex/masturbation

Plus with this one costing only $24.95 (at the time of writing), you’d think it was cheaply made. Well, like all glass toys, you do have to take care of it, but this one is sturdy. I have a metal dildo that’s really hard and as I was moving toys around this glass one clinked into the metal one and it’s fine. It didn’t chip or break, it’s a sturdy piece.

Pretty pretty

It’s a pretty purple color and it doesn’t really look phallic, so if you want something pretty and discreet, this fits the bill. Plus, it’s made of glass, a non-porous material, so it’s easy to clean. Just wash in hot water with some soap and you’re ready to use it again. And you can safely share it with others, knowing that it can be completely cleaned, put in the top rack of your dishwasher or even boiled.

Glass allows you to play with temperature

If you want to experience cold, many glass toys will already be cool to the touch. You can easily put it in the freezer for a few minutes to cool it down further. I’m not a fan of the cold, so I prefer to warm it up and that can be done easily by running it under hot water, or by placing it in a bowl of hot water for a few minutes. It holds on to the warmth nicely and warms up to your body temperature nicely as well.

A glass dildo doesn’t have to be expensive to be fun.

Adam & Eve’s Curved Beaded Glass Dildo is a winner in my book. It has two separate ends for penetration giving you options and variety in use. I love that in toys. If you want something thick, you’ve got the bulbous /bubble end. If you’re not quite ready for that, you can use the thin twisty end. Either end can be used for thrusting. However, if you insert the thin twisty end and push down on the large bulb at the other end, you’ll get some good g-spot tapping that brought me to a very pleasurable orgasm. So whether you’re thrusting, popping, tapping or rocking, this dildo is a fun one. It’s made of non-porous glass so you can share it and it’s easy to clean and most importantly, you can experience the fun of glass without emptying your bank account.
